SONA 2015

One of the President's task is to give his SONA(State of the Nation's Address) to his countrymen. Last July 27, 2015, President Benigno S. Aquino III delivered his last SONA in his six years in his term. A lot of things had being said, some are positive and some are negative. Actually I did not saw the SONA of our President but I just read some articles about what was the President's SONA all about. With those things that was being mentioned by our President, there were reactions by the people who listened to it, saw and read the SONA of the President. I can say that this SONA 2015 serves us to know about his achievements and somehow critique on some of the things he had said.

I am actually disappointed to some of what he said especially in his introductory part of his address. In my opinion, why still reminisce about the past events that had happened in the previous regime when there are also mistakes in his term that should be resolved first instead of pinpointing other people. I think he should be more focus on how he  will put those some of his own mistakes to his so-called "tuwid na daan." I am also disappointed on how he delivered his speech especially that he mostly discussed about his own achievements and not touched other issues that should had been mentioned in his SONA, a lot of people are expecting that he would somehow discussed just like what had happened in Mamasapano wherein a lot of  lives had been wasted.

Despite of my disappointments, there are also positive things that President Noynoy did to us. One of it is the education system of our country wherein the individuals have the chance to go to school because of his program "Education for All." Aside from that, the 4P's (Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program) also gave opportunities to the families that could not support the student's education financially. Lastly, he also gave importance to the job opportunities for the Filipinos. In my own opinion, those are the things that really somehow change some system in our country, Philippines. All and all, SONA 2015 somewhat awaken our minds about what is really happening in his own regime.
